phrase we all try to use. But it is something that is often hard to
define. ICLEI - Local
Governments for Sustainability is on the cutting edge of
defining, measuring and helping create sustainable communities.
Michelle Wyman will offer her vision for sustainability in regions and
municipalities.
Michelle Wyman currently serves as Senior Advisor to he ICLEI USA Board of Directors. She recently stepped down as Executive Director for ICLEI USA and as co-director for international climate policy for ICLEI Global. Prior to this, Wyman worked for the City of Fort Collins, Colorado as the
Natural Resources Department Director. Wyman previously worked in Washington, DC, for the law firm of Reed Smith LLP establishing a
practice for public sector clients on sustainable development and environmental resource management. Her areas of expertise include
sustainable development, environmental management systems and domestic and international environmental policy and law. Wyman holds a
masters degree in public administration from New York University and an International Diploma in urban ecology and sustainable development
from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
